Our First Annual Fundraiser
Held at the beautiful Daveste Vineyards, are thrilled to invite you to our first fundraiser on October 9 from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $75.
The Kindness Closet is working everyday to remove barriers to essential hygiene for our neighbors who are struggling to afford their most basic needs. Kind in the Vines will provide critical funds to continue this important work in our community.
About Kind in the Vines
Kind in the Vines is the Kindness Closet's first signature annual event, bringing together donors, volunteers, and community supporters for an elegant evening at Davesté Vineyards. While no doubt a fun party, Kind in the Vines is a night dedicated to fighting hygiene insecurity in Iredell County. Currently, more than one-third of our neighbors are struggling to afford life's everyday essentials - items like shampoo, deodorant, soap, laundry detergent and feminine hygiene products - none of which are covered by government assistance programs. Often they silently suffer with this hidden and highly stigmatized crisis.
As North Carolina's only Hygiene Hub, the Kindness Closet is working everyday to remove barriers to essential hygiene for our neighbors who are struggling to afford their most basic needs.
Kind in the Vines provides the Kindness Closet with critical funds needed to continue this important work in our community. Together, let us 'wine down' our Wednesday with Davesté wine, craft beer, hors d'oeuvres, music and silent auction. Each guest will have the opportunity to pack hygiene kits and experience the gift of giving back to our community.
